Spring 2026 classes are underway. Enrollment remains open until each location reaches capacity. Limited spots available.
Learn Tabla with Confidence — At Any Age
NYC Tabla is a community-based tabla school rooted in an ancient oral tradition of rhythm—passed down through listening, vocalization, movement, and playing.
Open to toddlers through seniors, beginners through advanced musicians. There is no “right age” and no “bad rhythm.” Consistency is the only requirement.

Group Tabla Classes
Semester-based group classes focused on technique, repertoire, rhythmic understanding.
Rhythm Training
For singers, instrumentalists, dancers, and composers who to deepen timing, groove, and rhythmic clarity
One-on-One (Advanced)
Private study offered for advanced students and professionals.
Learning & Community
NYC Tabla is community-centered and performance-aware. Students have opportunities to participate in semester showcases and collaborative performances, building confidence, listening skills, and a shared rhythmic language.
