NYC Tabla offers hybrid community-based tabla classes for students of all levels – whether you’re looking to begin your tabla journey or deepen your existing practice.

These classes combine in-person sessions at multiple locations with virtual access, allowing for flexible, supportive learning. You’ll also have opportunities to perform at community recitals throughout the year.

Lesson Structure

Each student enrolls in one primary in-person location and one weekly Zoom practice. We recommend attending both for the best learning experience, with the option to join other in-person classes if space allows. All in-person classes can be joined virtually.
